Korea Travelog 2k17: Day 2

We already planned to exempted a day just for Everland since there are too many things that we need to do in Everland. Everland is the largest outdoor theme park in South Korea. You can't finishing all games in the Everland for half day actually. You need the whole day to complete the Everland tour. Actually I had that Everland's map but i dunno where it go. I dunno where I put it after shown it to my dad. Maybe I've thrown them into the bin already? OMG! Hopefully not. For transportation, I planned to go with bus since I had researched all the impossible transportation to go there. But I didn't know that they got subway station to go there. So we just proceed with subway. If I'm not mistaken,you need to transfer to Yongin Ever Line from Bundang line (need to transfer at Giheung station and I'm forget which color it is) and Jeondae Everland station is the last station for Yongin Ever line station. You can check the station by using the app that I already told in previous entry. We woke up at 7am since we need to departed early. The estimation time that I got from that app I used, its said 1 hour and 30 mins for Apgujeong station to Jeongdae Everland station. So we already wasting our time in the subway already. Its better to departed early. Make sure your t-money got enough money in it. We grab a kimbab while waiting the train.

After an hour 30 mins passed, we arrived at Jeondae Everland station. No need to worry how to go to Everland after arrived there because they got shuttle bus to go to Everland. IT'S FREE GUYS. So just ride it okay. You also can use English language to the worker who worked at Everland because their English is not bad tho (trust me, I've tried this! hhahahaha) I didn't know many people went to Everland in week days such as Monday. Its Monday tho. The first day of the week,so people gonna busy to catching train to go to their workplace or schools. Eventho its monday, there are so many people there. I dunno either its public holiday or not in here. There are so many people who queue to enter the theme park. Thanks to their systematic system, they got a lot of counter so no need to wait for a long time. We already purchase the ticket through online. It way more cheap than you buy at Everland coz they got discount too! But there are some places that we can't enter such as Caribbean bay. Mostly we got play all of the games but not for Caribbean Bay. Its okay then, we also didn't planned to get our clothes wet on that day.

Okay guys, I already searched for that Everland map that I had before this. I dunno where it go. Maybe I've thrown it into bin already (I'm so sorry!!) 

The map similarly like this one. But they don't have that label thingy instead they listed the games around Everland for visitors at the back of the map. They labelled the place by using numbers as example for number 1 the games is roller coaster. So by using the map you need to find where the exact place of roller coaster. Don't worry you won't misguided because there're too many visitors till night. Make sure you already grab your breakfast and have another food for your lunch because its difficult to find a complete meal in here. They mostly sell street food (?) thingy. You will starving for the whole day if you won't have your breakfast.

Since there are too many visitors so we need to queue for a long time (we ever queue for an hour, guys! goshh my legs). As a result, we only get to play some games because we need to go back to Seoul. Its already 4pm or 5pm at that time. So its better to moves right now since we didn't know this place exactly. Next time, I'll make sure to go here till night. (hehehh).

I need to wait for an hour and 40 mins to ride this. Ah! btw, that oppa who take care for this game is soooo handsome (annyeong oppppa).

This is the fucking scariest games that I ever ride. I swear I won't ride this kind of games anymore. Seriously! its so scary. I rather enter ghost house than play this game (ergh!). At that time, I sat beside a korean guy ( he got girlfriend already okay). When that thing rolling like hell, that guy screams like he gonna lost his voice on that day. I pray his voice got no problem after ride this game. Ouhh he look like he gonna cried. (hahahahahah)

This one not bad. I love this cuz its make my stomach ticklish (hahahahah)

This games is not that scary than that roller coaster wood thingy ( I suddenly forgot the name). There is a korean guy that ride this roller coaster with us. After the roller coaster stopped, he can't walk straightly. I fucking laughing hardly to him. seriously, he is so funny. aigooo

wahhh this games is sooo crazy. Its not that scary but during this thing swinging I can't stop laughing because its make me ticklish. Seriously! try to search 'Wanna One Jaehwan ride viking'. His reaction almost similarly with me. Its such a waste I didn't recorded my reaction. If I have the video, I will make differences with Jaehwan's reaction. (I bet no differences cuz I scream so fucking loud).

We also went to zootopia. I never went to zoo in my own country tho (Oh yeah! I have one. Its Zoo Melaka when I'm14 year old maybe).

Awww the view is so beautiful at this time. I'm falling in love with cherry blossom in here. It makes me walked into secret garden. (not that k-drama secret garden, okay)

I'm surrounding with flowers. Double beautiful! I mean the flowers. Its beautiful. My pleasure if you wanna said I'm beautiful also (AHAHAHAHAH OMG!EXCUSE MY CONFIDENT)

We moving to Jeondae Everland station to go to our next destination. It's Yang Good Korean BBQ restaurant. Its located in Yeoksan area and serving halal foods to all muslim eventho they serve alcohol too but don't worry, they know we're muslim. To reach here, we need to go to Yeoksam station line 2 (EXIT 6). Then you need to walk for a while since the restaurant is located at the small junction. Yeah, Korea got a lot of small junction. After walked out from Exit 6, we continue walked straight till the end of the building blocks. There was a KFC located at your left side. So make sure you find the KFC at your left side, okey.(remember! Its left side!). After reached at the junction, we turn to left and continue to walked. Walk straight till you find the first junction that can make you make a turn at the right side. So, take this junction and walk till you find an alley at your left side. You will see a small signboard (blue in color) which written as Nonhyeon-ro 95-gil.(If you can't find it, try searching it. Look above you since the signboard located much taller than you). Then, follow the signboard and walk through this alley. After a while, you can see that restaurant signboard.

For Muslim, like me and my friend, Its kinda feel shy for the first time you entered there because there are too many korean at that time since its dinner time. Its a normal scene if you find them drink soju. Its okay, they won't disturb you. After we arrived at this restaurant and take our seat, there are some Malaysian and foreigner also eat beside us. So, I felt relieved for a while. (hahah at least we're not alone here).

Tbh, I forgot already what we ordered (mianhae guys, I'm such a forgetful person. Its okay, I trying to remember what I've eat there).

We ordered:

1) The marinated lamb - 18000 won/per serving

2) 2 bowls of rice-  1000/each

3) Kimchi jigae-5000won

Ouch, the marinated lamb is so delicious guys! seriously its the best food that I ever tried in Seoul (this is my second day. Me talked like I have living for 50 years in Seoul)

They also got side dish (banchan). I forgot what drinks we ordered, but they also served sky juice for us. Its FOC. So don't waste your money to buy any drinks incase you really wanna try it. I think I ordered orange juice coz I didn't knew they served sky juice for free. (I told you, its my second day). In Malaysia, you need to ask for sky juice and they charge for it (ermm I want live in Seoul so bad. hahahaah).

So, this is me with my hungry face. Oh yeah, I remembered what beverages I ordered. Its orange juice. (I'm in love with my precious orange juice).

A precious message from me to all my muslim friends: Avoid use the glass since they use it to drink alcohol eventho it have been washed cleanly. Use the metal glass that they give you. If they don't give you the metal glass, you can ask for it to the waiter/waitress. Press the 'help' button on your desk.

Korea Travelog 2k17: Day 1

April 23rd 2017 (Sunday)

It's located at Apgujeong. So from Incheon International airport to Apgujeong. To arrived here, we need to transfered from Incheon airport -> Gongdeok station (transfer to line 6), Yaksu station and finally we arrived at Apgujeong station and we took Exit 2 as stated at the direction that they told in the website. (guys remember this, they got a lot of EXITS. No need to scared because they write the place on the signboard). Haa I got funny story again guys. My trip is not complete without funny stories (I think (?)) While we at Gongdeok station waiting the train, there was an ahjusshi talking with us. He so brave eventho he just know a little bit English. Here our conversation between us and him.
ahjusshi: Hi!
We: Hi! annyeonghaseyo (excited speaking Korean with Korean hahahaa)
ahjusshi: what are you doing here? (he speak in korean for the whole conversation. I'm not that good to translate the sentence yet)
We: .... err.. (damnnn I forgot the word travel in hanguk)
ahjusshi: yeohaeng (travel) ?
We: nae majayo. urineun yeohaeg-i-e-yo
ahjusshi: eodiga?
We: Yaksu
ahjusshi: Guksu?
We: Yaksu
ahjusshi: Guksu? yeogi yeogi Guksu? (he pointed Guksu word on the map infront us)
Oh gosh, this ahjusshi really can't hear our voice well. I think he got that hearing problem since he's old already. I thought he in 60's? or maybe nahh. We just smiled eventho we felt dizzy already. Aigoo ahjusshi. I talked with my friend bout this. 
We: ahjusshi, Guksu aniyo, Yaksu-ye-yo.
Do you want to know what that ahjusshi replied? (hahahah)
ahjusshi: ahh! Guksu! Yess. Daum jihacheoleul Yaksu kkaji geunde i jihacheoleul Guksu kkaji dochak-e-yo (he said that we need to take the next train after this train because this train will stop only at Guksu  while the next train will stop at Yaksu)
If you curious which place is more further either Yaksu or Guksu? It's Guksu  guys. hhaahha me seriously surrender with this ahjusshi plus we're tired already. So I told my friend just take the next train because this ahjusshi won't give us take this train since he think we want to go to Guksu. So we agreed. Plus, the next train will arrive only in 4 mins or 2 mins. 
ahjusshi: i jihacheol aniyeyo. daum-e. annyeonghi gyeseyo.
We: nae ahjusshi, kamsahamnida. annyeonghi gaseyo.
So he departed already. We just laughing then be like 'ahhh ahjusshiiiii!

Waiting for the next train after the current train departed. Kinda miss that ahjusshi (huhuhuhuuu)

For what I've researched, we need to take the bus and stop at ergh I don't remember that place (joeseonghamnida yeoreobun) but It's kinda near with Apgujeong station. We got conflict here. We didn't know where the exact place of that house because all the highlight places are not existed anymore. We just walked there for many times to find Volkswagen store which stated in the map but none!.By using my genius mind (excuse this please, hahaha) I told my friend bout the signboard for small junction that located at the side of the road. We just need to find the small signboard (I don't remember the exact color of the signboard) that has the same number with the address. Thanks god, with my friend's eagle eyes, we found the guesthouse! (yeayyy) I found the exact direction to go here after settled the payment with the owner. Actually they didn't updated their address which stated in the website (duhh!) We're so exhausted but I'm glad because I brought small luggage and a medium size bag. So I'm not too exhauested but feel sleepy. After settled all deposit and paid for the balance of the payment that we had paid at Malaysia, we entered the room. I can say it is not so far from our expectation but yeah, it's a backpacker style. I can say the size of the room just fine for 2 people. But I don't understand why we need to paid if we wanna use aircond? because we already did the payment. They didn't said that air conditioner is exempted from the payment and same goes to washing machine. Oh god! I'm so done with this. Seriously. why they didn't explained in the website or instagram ? It's okay, since it's spring season, and at that time, the temperature is 11C (so fucking cold I tell you) we didn't used the air conditioner. Oh!forgot to tell you, in that guesthouse, if you used the air conditioner you need to pay 5000won/day. Hahh I'm glad I'm travel here in spring season (heheehe) I can buy complete meal with 5000won tho. Same goes to washing machine too. I washed my lingerie only since I didn't sweat a lot in here. It's cold how can you produce sweat? (hmmmm) So we put our luggage and get ready to....SLEEP. Woah we were so exhausted. If I'm not mistaken, we arrived at 2pm and we sleep until 4pm. Then, get ready to go find something to eat, I'm hungry asf guys. Didn't eat since the time we arrived Incheon airport till after woke up from sleep. We went to Hongdae to find some food.

We ride the train from Apgujeong station to Hongdae station (line 2) and walked straight to Exit 9. I don't remember how long we in the train to arrived at Hongdae. After walked out from the Exit 9... WOAHHH! I GOT THAT K-DRAMA FEELINGS GUYS! (hahahaha). I can feel like I'm one of foreign student who study there (oh!what a dream!) We walked around Hongdae to find foods either street foods or any cafe or restaurant. There are lot of street vendor (?) beside the road. We went to Line cafe, and Kakao cafe. Both of these cafes are so cute! yeaa Korean really like cute thingy.

(The reason why I don't use photos that are mine is my phone went crazy after back to Malaysia. Its format itself! SHITTTT! RIP to my memorable photos. Some of them are in my instagram but most of them already gone. Oh shit I'm gonna cried for real at that time. Nevermind, pray for my Korea Travelog 2.0 will come to reality, guys!)

Okey this time, we really felt like our stomach hurt asf. For us, muslim people, its hard to find the halal food in here. Then guys, I got something interesting to tell you. I found a garden cafe that we already planned to visit on other day. I don't know they got one in Hongdae. So yeah, we climbed the stairs up and entered the cafe. It's sooo beautiful and aesthetic! We wanna ordered the beverages and dessert. At least we got eat a little bit eventho its dessert. The owners are so handsome (excuse my flirting). The owner approached us and we ordered the beverages and also a cake. Its oreo cream cake. He also gave us macaron because he didn't have the balance for what I've paid. Supposely he gave me 500won as the remaining but he gave me macaron instead of money. Oh god, the owner is so cute. He tho I can't speak in Korean. 
So he be like: 500won...err.. change..we..no no...macaron...
I be like 'what the hell he want to talk actually'. I just keep hearing what he wanna said. Then he asked me.
"are you can speak... korean"
Then I nodded. Then his friend laughed at him. We also laughed together. After he knew I can speak korean, he speak korean to me like a teacher teaching his student in the kindergarten. SOOO CUTEEE! he explained with the gesture eventho I can understand well. OMOOO I MISS THAT MEOTCHIN OPPA ALREADY. After we got the beverages, a cake and macaron then we climbed the stairs since they got another floor for guest. We were speechless at that time. I can't explain how beautiful the cafe was. You need to see with your real eyes.Its make me live in the fantasy for a while.

They also sell a bouquet of flowers which you can see infront the entrance. I tho that oppa wanna gave me that bouquet since I can speak korean well . (HAHAHAHA I don't see any correlation here, guys). We stay there until 7pm and get ready to go to the next destination : HANGANG!

Hangang a.k.a Yeouido park is a large recreational area. It was once originally covered with black asphalt, and people frequented the place for bycycling and roller-skating. The park is divided into theme-based sections: Traditional Korean Forest, Grass Square, Culture Square, and Nature's Ecosystem Forest. Yes, the park is fucking large, guys! What the best thing is I got a photo with cherry blossom! yeayyy! one achievement unlocked! There are a lot of citizen and foreigners doing their own things such as picnic, cycling, eat, hangout and etc. Oush! the temperature there was so cold. My nose become red because of the windy wheather plus its night already. Its fun with alot of people there. I dunno where in the place of Malaysia I can get environment like that. KLCC ? hmmmmm. Ah! wait. How to go to Hangang? yeah I'm forgot bout this. You need to go to Jongno 3ga and go to Yeouinaru which is line  and take Exit 2 or 3.

We started to departed from Yeouido park at 9pm  to our guesthouse. Its such a nice day. The next day gonna be the best ever day in my life. WE WENT TO EVERLAND GUYS! wait for the next entry and sorry for the long long longgg entry because I can't hide my feeling towards Seoul. I miss Seoul so bad. Seriously. Ah! I forgot.about Yunjuro street while in Korea (crying so bad. Joke mann hahaah) Yunjuro street is the beautiful street while spring season because it's full of cherry blossom! Like in k-drama scene which is 'The Producer'. Ahhh! It's okay. I will go there later.

Korea Travelog 2k17: Intro

So for our day 1 of course departed from airport to Incheon airport (heheheh). I'm Malaysian so I departed from KLIA2  at 1am. Yeah guys, Its so fucking sleepy. We didn't booked for hot seats eventho the flight duration to arrived Incheon airport is 6 hours. 6 HOURS GUYS! So exhausted like hell. I'm so excited and can't wait to walk on South Korea land for the first time. But before that I need to bear for 6 hours (uuuu) I'm so sleepy but can't sleep because excited and hungry but I didn't felt like to eat anythin. Oh I'm forgot to tell you. I'm flew with Air Asia (Now Everyone Can Fly) hahahah its their trademark tho.

At 7am, we were arrived at Incheon airport. We hold hands together because we can't believe our eyes right now. SERIOUSLY?! ITS SOUTH KOREA? THE COUNTRY THAT WE ALWAYS WATCHING THRU TV AND INTERNET? I feel like want to cry at that time. Its not crying because I wanted to go home. But I want to cry because I can unlocked one of my life goals. OMG! fucking excited and cannot wait to explore Seoul for these 7 days.

As we arrived at the airport, we didn't familiar with the high-tech that they used and also the signboard. OMG, now I see signboard in korean and english language. So funny at that time. We passed the immigration so the first thing that we need to do is to get the T-money. Yeah, guys, now you need to apply your korean language or you can't get want you want (hahaha) joke mann . They still can understand you but it takes time. Its better to use korean language with Korean. Righttt?? I'm not that fluent person when comes to korean language. So here the dialog with the cashier (ohh thanks god I still remember this trip's dialog) :

Me: T-money kadeu dugae juseyo

Cashier: Nae, but this card didn't have any money in it. Would you want to reload these cards? (I already said, I'm not that fluent and the cashier talk way so fast you know! OMG. So here my answer)

Me: aniyo, gwenchanayo

Cashier: It's 14000 won. gamsahamnida

Me: nae, cheonmanieyo

So yeah we got our t-money but we need to reload these cards first before we can used it. No need to reload it too much. At that time, we just reload for 40 000won and it is estimated for 4 or 5 days trip by using subway only. Oh, I'm forgot to tell you. Since we're in backpacker trip so we fully used subway as our main transportation. We didn't planned to take any other transportation since most them are way to expensive such as taxi. Bus is our backup transportation. But for me, its kinda difficult as first timer because you need to know where your destination. Its so different than subway. For bus, there are no announcement for each destination. As I said, You need to know and search where your destination or you gonna sit in the bus until night. As for subway, they show you the route for each station that will be stop. For who already went to Korea, you must know there are more than eights subway line. You really need to make some research bout it. Which lines that bring you to the destination.

So this is Seoul subway lines. Way to hard if you don't learn how to understand it. Nahh, you no need to screenshot the map. Nowadays, there are alot of apps for Korean subway but you need to choose wisely and its better if it can functioning during offline since most of the time you won't get free wifi while walking. But don't worry they have free unlimited fucking fast wi-fi in each shop/cafe/restaurant. You just need to eat for awhile and you get to used that fast unlimited free wi-fi. I will tell you bout free wi-fi soon. Now I need to tell you which app that we used during our trip.

yeahh people. I used this app. Kinda easy and can used either offline or online. I tell you Google map can't functioning well there. I dunno why. So this app will help you. Don't worry, apple store also got this app (muahahahah)

Okey, done for subway maps and T-money. In Incheon airport there are two trains which are AREX and Seoul station train. AREX kinda exclusive and of course its a little bit expensive. They have waitress in there (no wonder its expensive). For backpacker, don't ever tried this train because you can't handle the price except if you really wanna try AREX and you got that money that specially for AREX then you can have it.  Mostly, for backpacker, they used Seoul train since its cheaper than AREX. We used Seoul train to go to our guesthouse. 

How to go to Seoul station in Incheon airport?

When I write 'IN' Incheon airport, that means its located inside the airport. Don't ever dare to go outside the airport. Okey guys, I have a funny (I think its funny) story. Before we arrived at Incheon airport. I already checked the temperature. It's 23C. So i though its not so cold like winter season since we went in spring season and it gonna have transition to summer season. We tho it's not that cold. Seriously! I didn't bought any thick clothes with me. Only my travel jacket which I just bought from H&M in my country. Specially for my first backpacker's trip. Back to Incheon airport, I saw  the signboard where the Seoul train located. I tho its shows outside of the airport. So we need to go outside and there was escalators there. Ok then, we walked outside. Know what, we got body shock with the temperature there. IT'S SO FUCKING COOOL! I tho there was aircond outside there. Then we ran inside the airport. At that time, we just realise where the signboard shown. Its shown the direction of the escalators. We need to take that escalators where the Seoul train located. Its on the airport's underground. OMG, I regret a little bit because I didn't brought any thick clothes. I wore 3 layer of clothes included my travel's jacket. On our first day arrived, I just wore thin bomber jacket. Yeah i tho its not that cold mann! Yess! we arrived at the Seoul station and way to go to our guesthouse. There are two station there. So you need to read the signboard where its go. At that time, if I'm not mistaken, both sides are for Seoul train because AREX was located at different sides. So, if one of the sides got train waiting the passenger ,you can walk in. Oh before you walk into the train station, make sure to touch your T-money first or you can't enter there (hahahahaa forgot bout this).

This is the T-money reload machine. Its located at each subway station. If you so shy to ask Korea cashier at any shop to help you reload the T-money, then you can use this. Don't worry bout the language. Its has English language. Just follow the instructions that will be given by the machine. Okey? any question can ask me! I'm willing to help you. OMG, the intro way to long. sorry guys. I got that Seoulsick because I miss Seoul's environment. You need to go there and you will feel the same. Will continue the DAY 1 soon.

Korea Travelog 2k17: Behind The Scene of My Trip

Hi guys, As what I promise before this, I'm gonna share my experience and valuable trip to Korea. I went to Korea on April 23rd till April 29th. Basically, It's 7 days. I went there with my friend. Before I'm starting my story, let me tell you the story behind the scene. I watch a travel vlog on youtube about five best friend that go to Seoul together. Its has boosted my dream to go there. So, I really really want to go there with my friend. I told my friends bout this. But they just be like "ohoh? seriously? Ok, I'm in" then they laughing together. They promise to keep some of their allowances for our Korea trip. Ok then, I trust them. But not 100% only 45% since they think I just daydreaming bout this and I also to crazy bout S.Korea. One of my friend promise me to come to Korea together since she is k-popper just like me (hehehehe) I really hope she can accompany me to Seoul since I don't have anyone that I can trust except her at that time. We planned this trip in our Year 2 of Diploma study. Everytime we meet, we will discuss which place should we visit when we arrive there. I really excited and can't wait for it. Not me, but she also fucking excited! I can't imagine how we will live for 7 days in Seoul. Will we meet k-pop idols in subway or anywhere accidentally? So I just think bout Seoul and guess what, Its boost my study and get good result. With my good results, my parents allowed me to go there. Before my internship began, we already purchased the tickets for two people. Guess what guys, my other friend can't believe we will go to Seoul in April 2017. I just laughed and be like 'Nahh its your fault hooman, I already told you bout this. We also didn't expect that our trip to Seoul will come true. With purchasing the tickets so the percentage to arrive there is 85%. Then, we always count how many days till our precious day will come. We always chat together and still discuss which places that we need to go since its the only trip and I dunno when I will arrive Seoul again. So, I wanna go to all places in Seoul as many as I can. 

After our internship finished, we got the practical exams for a week. Then we need to do project presentation. After that.... we're FREEE! I'm officially completed my diploma study at that time. So, the day just around the corner. Can't wait for it. I learn korean language which I never learn during my study years. I surveyed the road and places that we will go. We booking the hostel which is the owner is a Malaysian. So I hope they will help us if we have any problem in Seoul later. The hostel is suitable for people who doing backpacker trip to Korea. We didn't hire any tour guide since both of us really know Korean language well. At this point, we can cut the budget to hire the tour guide. Before go to Seoul or anywhere thru backpacker style, make sure you survey and find complete information bout the places that you want to visit. 

Kinda miss Seoul so much!

I'm planning to write my travel to Seoul last April. Oh man, I'm so into Seoul and I didn't want to departed from Seoul. I really really (sing Winner's Really Really) love and miss Seoul. Its not because I'm into k-pop things so thats why I love live there eventho just a week. I will write bout it soon!

I just finished posted Wanna One facts. Supposely I post that facts yesterday. But my mom called me to go back to my hometown as soon as my final exam finished. I arrived here at 11pm.
